Megan Roberts

Associate Licensed Counselor; Melissa Scott, LPC-S

When people come to therapy, it’s often because they feel unworthy in some way. Countless messages about our appearance, ability, performance, relationships, and more slowly teach us to feel unworthy about ourselves. We learn that we are either “too much” or “not enough” in some way. Eventually, we come to believe these messages and forget who we are.

Hi, I’m Megan, and I’m here to help you embrace your inherent worth!

I believe that every person is born with inherent worthiness that remains unchanged no matter what life brings. However, it's easy to lose sight of this through challenges and experiences. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, affirming space where you’re valued just as you are. Together, we’ll explore all aspects of you, with the support you need to reconnect with your true self.

Under the guidance of Melissa Scott, LPC-S, I practice primarily from a Person-centered approach, enriched by insights from neuroscience, evidence-based research, and a holistic, lifespan perspective. I am also comfortable working with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-focused Therapy approaches.

My areas of focus are clients who are 18- to 22-years-old, college students (community, undergraduate, master’s, Ph.D., etc), clients battling body image concerns and eating disorders, and LGBTQ+ clients. Regardless of who you are and what you are going through, I am always happy to connect with you! Please feel free to reach out to me.

No matter what you’ve been through, the worth was inside of you the whole time. Together, we’ll work to rediscover and embrace it.
